Speech and Language Teaching Clinics


These teaching clinics offer therapy at no charge for children or adults with specific communication or swallowing problems.

Free Speech-language Therapy Teaching Clinics- Children

Services are provided for:

  • Children who have difficulty making certain sounds
  • Children who have difficulty in putting together sentences or understanding and following instructions
  • Children who have feeding difficulties and services include those provided in our Food School

Free Speech-language Therapy Teaching Clinics- Adults

Services are provided for:

Adults with concerns about

  • speech and/or language
  • speech fluency
  • voice
  • swallowing
  • facial weakness

 

Services include:

  • Lee-Silverman Voice Therapy for people with Parkinson’s disease
  • Joint Nutrition & Speech-language Therapy clinics for people with Parkinson’s disease
  • Gavel Club for people with aphasia – More Than Words
  • Gavel Club for people with Parkinson’s disease – The Movers and Shakers
