Free pulmonary education seminar - Saturday 20 July 2013

The University of Auckland Clinics provide a range of exercise services to the public including exercise rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation, a gym that’s open to everyone, youth conditioning programmes and opportunities to participate in research projects.

We are keen to share information on exercise that will help people stay active and as well as possible. Our Exercise Rehabilitation Clinic invites you to come and hear expert information about the management of pulmonary conditions.

The topics and expert speakers will be:
10.30am - 11.30am Helping the Pulmonary Patient (Speakers via Skype from the USA) - Pam Haines, Respiratory Care Practitioner and Abi Ritz, MSc, CSCS
11.45pm - 12noon Pulmonary Disease and Exercise Tyler Elliot, PGDipSci, Exercise Physiologist
12noon - 12.15pm Q&A session Dr Lance Dalleck, Academic Clinical Director and Senior Lecturer Department of Sport and Exercise Science, PhD, ACSM-RCEP, Brendon Roxburgh, Exercise Physiologist and Tyler Elliot, Exercise Physiologist
