Exercise prescription for you

Want to exercise but don’t know how to start or even if you should?
Getting niggly injuries when you exercise or train for events?

Our exercise physiologists are scientists trained to provide answers to these questions and design an individualised exercise prescription just for you. Our friendly expert team has the experience to provide a graded programme of exercise that is enjoyable, improves your health, does not take long to perform and gets you on  track to achieve your goals.

Science supports exercise prescription

The science behind exercise prescription supports exercise as a therapy that can benefit people of all ages, regardless of their level of fitness or health status. Research has demonstrated that exercise can improve circulation, increase mobility, flexibility and strength, reduce fatigue, reduce the risk of falls in the elderly, and improve people’s mood. Exercise helps people recover from surgery and injury. It also reduces the risk of heart disease, stroke, Type II diabetes and some cancers. It can even help you improve your memory!

If you are overweight, or have a musculoskeletal condition such as back pain, a neurological condition such as stroke or Parkinson’s disease, suffer from depression or are recovering from surgery or injury, you can benefit from an individualised programme of exercise at our Exercise Rehabilitation Clinic.
